Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm debating sending her back to the seller, or maybe sending her into AG for an eye replacement, but I would be worried that would replace her whole head...does anyone have any experience with eye replacements? Thanks
Also, she has those lovely soft eyelashes, and if I had her eyes replaced, those would turn to a stiff black right? Do you think I should just send her back and get a refund? I would appreciate ANYONES advice on this...I'm so sad, I've been waiting two weeks for her.

I have heard that they will honor request to replace the eye only (You will get the Mattel eyes), but it is not always possible, and if they rip the face while trying to put the eyes in, then they do have to give her a Mattel head.
Did the seller not mention it? How awful.
Edit to add: I would probably just keep her as is, silver eye and all, and possibly ask the seller to knock a few dollars off the price, but I wouldn't expect much more than $10.

Have you called CS? I've never dealt with this before , but I think that others have said that in the case of a PM doll that they *will* do an eye replacement. I would call CS and talk to them and if you do send her in then be sure to write a note (BIG letters) stating that ONLY her eye's are to be replaced.

You can request the AG Hospital to replace just her eye(s). Silver-eye is caused by a manufacturer's defect, so AG does this repair for free. If you call Customer Service, they can give you more details.
Usually, they just replace the head, but they will replace just the eyes on PM dolls if you ask for it. Be sure to include a note with your doll, just in case.
The only thing is, that there is a small risk of the doll's head being ripped, in which case they would replace the head at no charge. I've never heard of this happening to anyone on the board though, and several members here have had PM dolls' eyes replaced. However, it is something you definitely need to know before you decide. So would she still have her soft lashes, or would they be the hard black ones? I really LOVE the softer lashes, they look so much more natural.
Oh...and the seller did not mention this in the auction, but it is possible she didn't notice. I've written to her about it, but didn't say whether I was going to send her back or not..what would would you do?
I would tell her you're going to try to have her fixed, but that if they replace the head, you'd like to get your money back. Otherwise, you can ask her to refund you the cost of shipping the doll to the doll hospital or something like that. Good luck!
If it was me, Id honestly return her and get a different doll! The seller wasnt completely honest with you... even if she didnt say anything about the eyes, to me that is withholding information, which in my eyes is the same as lying!
Id ask to mail her back !
